Texas softball has already stolen the Big 12 regular season title from Oklahoma. Now, they're ready to attempt to do something a Longhorns team hasn't done since 2005 — win a Big 12 Championship.

UT began their journey to return to the Women's College World Series on Thursday with a 13-4 win vs. No. 8 Texas Tech. As the No. 1 seed, Texas is set on a collision course with their rivals across the Red River, Oklahoma, assuming the top teams win all of their games.
