City of Austin: Redbud Trail fence construction June 13-21

On Monday, June 13th the Public Works Department will begin construction of a fence on Redbud Trail between Lake Austin Boulevard and Stratford Drive. Crews will install the fence along the shoulders to help prevent rocks and debris from falling into the roadway. This project is anticipated to take five to seven days, with construction complete by Tuesday, June 21st. During this time, traffic will be reduced to one lane between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Flaggers will be on location to help direct traffic. Please follow all work zone traffic signs, cones, and flaggers onsite to direct you. Drivers are encouraged to use caution while traveling around the work zone.

• Traffic on Redbud Trail between Lake Austin Boulevard and Stratford Drive reduced to one lane on June 13 through June 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Construction crews and machinery around project site and flaggers to help direct traffic
